About Daniel
Daniel Simpson is an accomplished geotechnical engineer who develops practical solutions to difficult geotechnical problems.
He is a licensed Professional Engineer (civil) in Washington, Oregon, and California, and a licensed Geotechnical Engineer in Oregon and California. His experience ranges from designing routine pipe supports on spread footings to complex seismic deformation analysis of earth dams.
Daniel holds a BS in civil engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and an MS in geotechnical engineering from Oregon State University. He is a founding member of Sage Geotechnical with his long-time colleague and friend, Calvin McCaughan.
